Valentine's Day Monday February 14, 2011

I made this cheescake for a treat for Valentine's Day. It is a "real" cheesecake, you know the kind you bake. I was amazed how easy it was. The top layer is peanut butter, bottom layer is chocolate, the crust is oreo cookie, it is topped off with a sauce made from chocolate chips and cream. Yum!!

I don't know why the kids were so excited, but they wanted to take pictures and even set up the tripod to capture us all.

Vacation Pictures Posted

I finally got all our vacation pictures posted. We went to Southern California January 15-23. We had lots of fun. Start with the first post I did on Wednesday, January 27th entitled San Diego Beach. Or read them backwards, wich ever.

Last Day of Vacation

This was Saturday, January 23rd, our last day of vacation. We went to Universal studios again. We really liked the Simpsons ride and the backlot studio tour.

Rainy Vacation

Rain, Rain go away come again another day.

This is a rainstorm at Disneyland. I think this was on Thursday, January 21. It doesn't usually rain this much in California. We were just lucky I guess.

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland most of the week (Tuesday, January 19-Friday the 22nd). We stayed at the Dessert Palms hotel and walked to Disney each day. These are our pictures from Disneyland.

You have to get a picture with Mickey at Disneyland. The cover on our camera sometimes gets stuck, so that is the black you see, but at least we are all in the picture.
